EXPLORE THE ECOLOGY AND BIODIVERSITY

BOOK A VISIT

*In light of the current sanitary situation in Hong Kong and the recent announcement made by the government, we are sorry to inform you that the HKBM will be closed to visits until February 3rd (with this latter date to be revised in function of future developments).

Starting from Monday 17 January 2022, HKU will introduce enhanced Covid-19 control measures. From this date, anyone wishing to enter the campus/ HKBM will need either to be fully vaccinated or to take weekly self-tests. Our understanding of ‘fully vaccinated’ draws on the Government’s list of recognized Covid-19 vaccines and doses (https://www.coronavirus.gov.hk/.../list_of_recognised...). A set of readers will be installed (housed in eVT blue) at the entrances to HKU. Visitors will need to scan the eVT QR code on one of the readers to show they comply with HKU’s enhanced Covid-19 control measures. Original copies, photocopies, and screenshots of vaccination records and self-test results will be also accepted as well. Children under the age of 12 will be exempted (https://www.covidvaccine.gov.hk/en/faq).

All our museum guides/ staff will be verified to be fully vaccinated upon their duty. HKBM kindly ask you to make sure you are fully vaccinated before making the registration. Sorry for the inconvenience that this may cause and we wish you to remain healthy and safe.

We will release the new sessions every two weeks. The next proposed release time would be at 12:30 pm on 11 January (Tue) for the sessions until the end of January.  Please stay tuned to our updates on social media, website or other platforms. Sorry for the inconvenience brought and thank you for your understanding. For other frequently asked questions about booking visits, please see here.
